Gibb River Road - Day 2

After a great night on the Lennard River we both decided this would be good as a base camp and to stay another night even better it was all free. We headed down a heavily corrugated and dusty road to Windjana Gorge. Impressive place considering that over 200 million years ago it was an ocean reef. Now the Lennard river trickles down through it and is home to a lot of freshwater crocs. We walked up the gorge which was extremely draining because of the heat. After an exciting lunch of 2 minute noodles we rode back to camp for a relaxing swim and to wash off the dust.
